Birmingham, Alabama

Honor your most loyal companion with a custom fine art portrait—painted by hand, rooted in tradition, and created to last for generations. Serving Alabama families in Birmingham, Fairhope, Madison, Auburn, Cullman, Huntsville, Dothan, and beyond.

Because their loyalty deserves more than a snapshot. It deserves a legacy.

In Southern homes, dogs and horses aren’t just pets—they're family, tradition, and memory. They walk beside us in the field, stand patiently in the barn, greet us on the porch. Their presence is steady, noble, and unforgettable. That kind of devotion deserves more than a snapshot. It deserves to be immortalized—with brushstrokes, texture, and artistry that captures the very soul of the animal. That’s what we do here.

An ordinary picture just won’t do.

A pet portrait should never feel generic or rushed. This isn’t a caricature or mass-produced art piece—it’s a handcrafted legacy designed to honor generations. Whether you’re celebrating a champion bird dog, preserving the memory of a retired horse, or creating a once-in-a-lifetime gift for your spouse, this painting will be an heirloom. You need more than a printer. You need an artist who understands reverence.

We don’t just capture a likeness. We paint their legacy.

We’ve helped Southern families preserve the memory of their most cherished companions—with grace, depth, and soul.

Whether you're facing a recent loss or celebrating the daily joy your companion brings, I understand what this means to you. As a lifelong animal lover and classically trained portrait artist, I bring emotional sensitivity and deep respect to every brushstroke. These aren’t just pets. They’re part of your story—and your legacy.

Each portrait is hand-painted by Breanne Cook in the traditional classic style, using your session images or cherished snapshots. We begin with a design consultation to determine where the artwork will live and what story it should tell. From there, I create a one-of-a-kind painting that honors the animal’s spirit—and your love for them.

THE MOST CHERISHED PIECE IN OUR HOME

We commissioned a portrait of our English Setter as a gift for my husband. When he saw it, he cried. Not just because of how lifelike it was—but because it felt like his dog’s spirit had been captured in oil. It’s now the most cherished piece in our home.

— a. Montgomery, mountain brook, Al.

Each commission begins with a design consultation—either in-home or virtual. We’ll determine the perfect size, style, and setting for your painting. From classic head-and-shoulders in the Old Masters tradition to full-body action scenes in a field or low-country landscape, every detail is intentional. We offer museum-quality giclée or oil on canvas, framing options, and even oil painted portraits for beloved pets who’ve passed using snapshots.

KIND WORDS

“It was like having him home again.”

We gave Breanne a few old snapshots of our boy in the field—muddy paws and all. What she painted was beyond anything we expected. It wasn’t just accurate. It felt like she saw him the way we did. It’s now framed above the fireplace, right where he used to nap.  — C. Reynolds, Auburn, AL

“The portrait looks like it’s always belonged in our family.”

We commissioned a painting of our daughter’s horse as a graduation gift. Breanne captured not just his likeness, but their story. The ribbon, the way he carried his head, the soft light in the background—every detail is intentional. It's now the first thing guests comment on when they walk through our door.
— M. Harper, Madison, AL
