Classic children’s portraits—painted or printed—created in Birmingham, Alabama and beyond. Serving families in Fairhope, Huntsville, Madison, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, and throughout the Southeast.

Because they grow up so fast—and this is how you hold on.

There are moments in a child’s life that feel suspended in time: the missing tooth smile, the bows they picked themselves, the awkward grin that’s all their own. But those moments pass. Our heirloom children’s portraits preserve these milestones with timeless elegance—so your child will always be remembered just like this.

You blink—and the moment is gone.

You’ve promised yourself you’d do it. Capture them before they change again. But the days blur, the school year flies, and suddenly their little shoes don’t fit. These portraits aren’t just pictures. They’re how you freeze time—and create artwork they’ll grow up seeing on your walls, knowing how deeply they’re loved.

Because someday, they’ll show their children these portraits—and say, “That was me.”

We’ve helped families across the South preserve their children’s legacy—beautifully.

Breanne has photographed children for over fifteen years, capturing everything from their first birthday to college graduation. With a calming presence and a classically trained eye, she guides each child through a session that feels safe, patient, and dignified.

From in-home sessions to studio sittings, every portrait is crafted with legacy in mind—designed to become part of your family’s visual history. Our work hangs in nurseries, foyers, hallways, and staircases across the South, telling the story of who your children are—and how deeply they’ve always been loved.

what we're known for

01

We See Their Spirit

We never ask children to perform. We let them be themselves—curious, shy, silly, or sweet—and we capture that with honesty and grace.

02

We Honor the Stage

From Bunny and Bear best friends to college-bound maturity, every season matters. We believe portraits should reflect who your child is—at every age.

03

We Create Legacy

These portraits aren’t just for now. They’re for 20 years from now—when your child brings their own children to visit, and says, “That’s who I was.”

What to expect, how we work, and why it’s worth it.

01

Design With the End in Mind

Every portrait begins at home—with you. During your in-home consultation, we’ll plan the location, wardrobe, and styling, explore your walls and light, and get clear on your vision for the final artwork. This step ensures that everything is created intentionally, with the final display in mind.

02

A Day They’ll Never Forget—Captured Forever

On the day of your session, everything is ready. We offer professional hair and makeup if needed, gentle direction, and full access to studio wardrobe (including our beloved gowns and crowns). Whether in your home or our studio, the atmosphere is calm, unhurried, and curated to bring out your child’s natural spirit and elegance.

03

Artwork That Becomes the Family Treasure

After the session, you’ll view your portraits and choose the images you love most. These can be rendered as hand-painted oils or archival pigment prints, and finished as framed wall art, albums, or folio collections. When your artwork is complete, we assist with custom framing and white-glove installation—so it becomes part of your family’s legacy from day one.

“I see our portrait every day, and every time I do, I’m reminded of
how lucky we are.

Our children will grow up seeing it on the wall, and one day, it will hang in their homes too.”

— tiffany, mother of two boys

KIND WORDS

“She created the portrait our grandchildren will grow up with.”

Breanne came to our home and helped us plan every detail. We walked through our rooms, chose the walls, even picked gowns together. It was so thoughtful, so personal. The finished portrait hangs in our formal space now, and every time I walk by it, I’m reminded that this is what legacy feels like. I’m proud. My children are proud. And one day, I hope their children will be too. – Jill, wife, mother & grandmother

“I’ve never felt more comfortable in front of the camera.”

From start to finish, Breanne made us feel cared for. The styling, the session, even the way Breanne guided my kids—it was effortless. When I saw the final portraits, I teared up. It’s more than a photo. It’s a reminder of who we are right now, in this fleeting season. I’m so glad we didn’t wait.  – Stacy

Frequently asked questions

Do you photograph large or extended families?

Yes, but they require more planning. For extended families, we often schedule multiple sessions to capture various groupings with care and flow. An additional fee applies due to the complexity, but the result is a cohesive heirloom that honors every branch of your family tree.

Can we include pets in our family portraits?

Absolutely. Pets are family, too. Whether it’s a dog curled up with your child or a horse standing proud beside your family, we welcome them with care and patience.

Do you travel outside Birmingham for family sessions?

Yes. We serve families across Alabama and the Southeast, including Fairhope, Huntsville, Madison, Auburn, Dothan, Cullman, and Tuscaloosa. Travel fees may apply based on location.

Do I have to know how to pose?

Not at all. Most of our clients arrive feeling unsure. We’ll guide every step gently and naturally—so you can simply be present, and feel confident doing it.

Can we do our session at home instead of the studio?

Yes. In-home and environmental portraits are a beautiful way to personalize your session. We’ll help choose the perfect setting—whether it’s your living room, garden, or front porch.

How long will it take to receive our artwork?

Framed pigment prints from our Italian lab typically take 2–3 months. Hand-painted portraits may require 6 months or more. We recommend booking well ahead of holidays, milestones, or gifting deadlines.

We accept a limited number of family commissions per season. Inquire now to reserve your experience.
