A commissioned oil portrait is the highest form of portraiture. At Breanne Fine Portraiture, we create museum-quality, hand-painted oil portraits for families, institutions, and legacy clients across Alabama and the Southeast — portraits designed to become the centerpiece of your home and your family's history for generations to come.
A hand-painted oil portrait is more than a likeness—it’s a symbol of who you are and what you mean to the people who love you. Breanne preserves family stories and celebrates personal legacy through fine art that becomes part of your home—and your history.
Standard portraits give you a file. We give you forever.
“The portrait painting Breanne created hangs above my mantle—and every time I pass by, I feel proud.
It’s more than a picture. It holds my heart.”
— tIFFANY, lEGACY CLIENT

We start with the end in mind. Before a camera is raised, we visit your home, study your space, and design your portrait around where it will live. Wardrobe, lighting, scale, framing — all decided before the session begins.
02
Your session takes place in our Trussville studio or on location. Professional hair and makeup, expert posing direction, and an experience designed to make you feel confident and at ease. You don't need to know how to pose.
We handle that entirely.
03
After your session, you'll return for a private image reveal. We'll guide you in selecting the portrait that will become your painted commission — the one with the right expression, the right light, the right feeling.
04
Your selected portrait is transformed into a hand-painted oil commission. Each piece is finished to museum standards — archival, singular, and built to last generations.
05
Your finished oil portrait is custom-framed, hand-delivered to your home, and installed by us. This is the moment it becomes real.
A $1,700 retainer reserves your commission — $1,000 of which applies toward your finished portrait. Completed oil portrait commissions begin at $5,000. Most clients invest between $7,500 and $15,000, including session, painting,
custom framing, and white-glove installation.
From session to delivery, oil portrait commissions take up to 6-9 months. If your portrait is tied to a specific date — an anniversary, an installation ceremony, a milestone birthday — inquire at least 8 months in advance. We accept a limited number of commissions each year.
Breanne Cook has trained with master portrait artists including William Branson III and Lola Melani, learning traditional painting methods and the timeless principles of composition and lighting. She understands what makes a portrait worthy of being passed down—and how to make her clients feel confident, elegant, and seen. From Birmingham to Fairhope and beyond, families trust Breanne to create hand painted oil portraits and fine art imagery that tells their story with reverence. This is where Southern tradition meets timeless craftsmanship.
YOU’RE in the RIGHT PLACE
Then yes—you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
Whether painted by Breanne’s hand or produced through our artisan Italian print lab, your portrait is custom-crafted for longevity. Each commission includes styling, professional hair & makeup, in-home design consultation, and expert framing options curated to suit your space.
